The HND in Hospitality and Event Management is a 2 year programme designed to develop industry standard skills in the fast paced, diverse and exciting events industry. The course offers a mix of classroom learning, trips and visits, and work experience.

On top of this you can have the chance to go on international trips to get a glimpse at different hospitality cultures. Past trips have included Burning Witch Festival in Prague, the Sitges Carnival in Barcelona and Madison Square Gardens in New York.

You will be assessed through a mix of methods, including written reports and essays, exams, work-based projects, PowerPoint presentations and reflective journals.

Level 2 in Hospitality provides a fantastic pathway for students interested in a career in Professional Cookery or Event Management.

For budding chefs, the course would make the perfect choice for students who have already achieved a level 2 in Professional Cookery and now want to learn more about the industry itself.

The course also provides a pathway for learners who have not yet achieved the grade criteria for our level 3 Event Management programme and would like to study a relevant level 2 qualification. Learners can progress to level 3 Event Management providing they achieve

Join our level 3 Event Management programme providing you meet the criteria. You will need to achieve a Merit grade or above, 5 grade 4 GCSE or above including English and maths and have a satisfactory behaviour and attendance record.
